BOKAHONTAS

„Bokahontas“ is a story about us, here and now, and those of us who will take a look back at the present with regret, while there was still a chance to stop the destruction of the beautiful planet we were set on to sail through life.

This short film, set in Boka, is called Bokahontas for a reason. It is a message from the future, a look at the world we will leave for future generations, but above all, it is a poem about growing up in this beautiful environment.

The author of the film, director and sailor Jana Radan, comes from Herceg Novi. She had numerous appearances in local and international regattas. She carries the nickname „Little Mermaid“, well-deserved after crossing the Equator and sailing the Atlantic. She is the author of another short movie about the sailing schools in Boka called „U po’ bande“.

Her dream in life is to make movies while sailing, not to sail while making movies.

Don’t miss out to see „Bokahontas“ at the WIND FEST opening night, April 16th at 9 PM, Pine Promenade.
